"Angel in the Garden"
Being clear, free of unpleasantness, and shining bright and
steady like the moon.
The statement above describes the word Serene. The moon has always
been referred
to as governing female energy. What better name for the reflection
of this angel. She is at peace and confident with herself and
her surroundings. Her wings hold the colors of Gods gift to mankind,
the rainbow. These colors all have distinct meanings that are
shared in many philosophies and religious practices. Violet,
the color of beauty and spirituality, is what she chooses to
wear as an overthrow that enfolds her heart. Grapes have always
been associated with nourishment and the blue birds are reminders
that we are born to happiness and fulfillment. The roses have
special meaning for the earthly female Serenity reflects. The
comprised elements that make up this work of art speak volumes
about the person it was designed for. It is filled with life
as is the female it reflects. I give thanks for being asked to
create this piece for Bobbie Sue Hershey.
