The windows are beautiful. Kevin, you were right---we are pleased. Everyone who sees the windows just glows---some have even had tears as they took in the beauty of the "new" windows. Thank you for your wonderful "work of love."
Again, thank you. It has been enjoyable working with you. We look forward to working with you on our next project.

Attention Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Hershey:
Last night at our governing/board meeting Mr. Laton advised us that you had completed your work.
He also stated that he felt you had done a very good job and felt we should express our thanks and appreciation for the good work you had done.
In a day when good, honest, careful work being done is not very common. We thank you for this and if you ever need a reference-call on me.

To Whom It May Concern:
This is a letter of recommendation for Hershey's Stained Glass Studio of Milton, Iowa. The Lancaster Christian Church of Lancaster, Missouri has employed them to restore their windows. The church is a rather large building with many stained glass windows which are very old.
We have set the restoration up over a period of years starting in 1996 and have done some every year since. During this time we have found Hershey's Stained Glass Studio very dependable, affordable and exercising excellent workmanship.
We have also recommended this company to other churches in the area. They have done work for another church in Lancaster because of the satisfaction our church has received.
We are very pleased to recommend Hershey's Stained Glass Studio.

Dear Kevin and Helpers:
I wish to express my sincere thanks for the beautiful work done for the windows and altar glass in the
United Methodist Church in Pilot Mound, Ia.
The artist, the painter, the other laborers have all done so well.
It was great of you to get the last small window and the wonderful one over the altar.
It is just breathtaking, and wonderful to be able to have it for the Cantata.
We had a full house of worshipers, last night, and a generous offering was received for community betterment, music, ect.
I hope to see you again. In the meantime, may God bless all. He is the one who said he never would leave us or forsake us.
Blessings in your work,
United Methodist Church

To Whom It May Concern,
I am a stained glass consultant with twenty-five years of experience in the restoration of stained glass, the Chair of the Restoration Committee of the Stained Glass Association of America, and I sit on a number of boards of stained glass and preservation organizations.
I have worked with Kevin Hershey of Hershey's Stained Glass Studio on the installation of a number of Tiffany windows at the Newcomb Art Building at Tulane Univerity. I have found him to be a conscientious, knowledgeable craftsman dedicated to careful restoration of stained glass windows. In my opinion, he is also honest and trustworthy.
If you have any questions regarding Mr. Hershey or his work, please feel free to contact me at the address or telephone numbers provided below.

We have had extensive work done to our stained glass windows here at Oskaloosa Central United Methodist Church over the past decade and have been extremely pleased with the workmanship and business relationship of Hershey Stained Glass. Kevin and his crew are pleasant to work with and very conscientious of their projects and our space, even willing to work around wedding and funeral schedules. The spaces they have worked in have been clean upon completion of the project. When there have been questions or concerns, Kevin has addressed them immediately. Hershey Stained Glass has stood behind their work and I would recommend them to anyone on any size of project.

With deep appreciation for your patient and loving restoration of St. Adalbert's lovely windows.

Kevin Hershey's fascination for glass started in his childhood. His mom would often allow him to go digging for antique glass bottles. Kevin's extensive collection of antique bottles includes some very rare pieces dating from the 1790's to 1910.
His passion for collecting glass has evolved into a mission to restore glass windows in churches and homes throughout the country. In 1992, Kevin became an apprentice in an Iowa stained glass window studio. Today, he and his wife, Bobbie, have a thriving stained glass restoration business. Hershey's highly praised work is in demand all over the country. He has worked on windows of well over 300 churches across the country from the New England States to Hawaii, including stained glass windows dating back to 1812, and many different styles: Victorian, Prairie style, beveled, hand painted and Tiffany glass, just to name a few.
The studio does extensive restoration work on church windows as well as residential windows. From time to time certain public buildings such as libraries and court houses also have stained glass windows which need restoration. Hershey's Studio also deals with the design and fabrication of new stained glass windows and protective storm coverings.
In recent years the studio has concentrated on churches in the Midwest, which are closer to home. It's always interesting to learn when and where the windows were made. Many times, the windows were added later as the church raised the money necessary to purchase the windows.
At Hershey Studio we believe the success of the company is directly related to the experience and commitment of its owners and employees. Our philosophy for restoration requires three basic ingredients:
Hershey Studio offers complete restoration for all kinds of stained and leaded glass windows. Including all aspects of wood frame restoration or new frames. We also build all types of new stained glass windows for churches and residential. Custom original designs are available as well as many contemporary designs. We also offer a large number of Victorian patterns available from a turn of the century stained glass catalog.
